There was a time when one big ox or a horse was all a farmer had to move his plow around his fields. Now we need huge machines that are built to plow the super-farms of the modern world.
The world’s biggest plow isn’t powered by a cow, and it isn’t even pulled by a tractor. Not one, not two, but three Caterpillar bulldozers are needed to move the metal monster that helps feed the people of the Netherlands and the world.

Caterpillar D8H, D8E, and D6R dozers with a combined horsepower of 650 hp are chained together in front of the plow. The plow churns through dirt around six feet deep, turning it over to keep the farmland ready for new crops.
The monster plow is located in The Netherlands and it was built by the company Bijker Bulldozerverhuur. It's is huge and heavy, and goes deep into the soil, but it isn’t the widest plow around. A 77-foot wide plow set was used to plow a field at the Manitoba Threshermen’s Reunion and Stampede.
